How working with a virtual broker actually works.
Do I need to meet my insurance agent in person?
No. Licensed insurance agents can legally work with clients by phone, video call, and e-signature as long as the agent holds an active license in the state where the client resides. I work with clients entirely virtually across all 36 states I'm licensed in.
How do I know if my agent is licensed in my state?
You can look up any agent's license status by their National Producer Number (NPN) through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) or your state's Department of Insurance website. My NPN is 17433701.
Does insurance coverage differ from state to state?
Yes. Plan availability, carriers, and pricing all vary by state due to differing insurance regulations. That's part of why working with a licensed broker helps — I can walk you through what's actually available where you live rather than a generic national quote.
What if my state isn't on this list?
